I wrote “Born and Raised”- an energetic and outlaw country song when I was 18 years old while working on the family potato farm in PEI Canada. After the lyrics were finished, during the production period the lead guitar and fiddle gave the song that mid-western Sam Bass and Jesse James vibe to it.

Born and Raised includes some of Canada’s top-tier and CCMA award-winning musicians Jason Barry (guitar), and Shane Guse (fiddle).

This song resembles what I stand for, and everyday life in the rural area in which I come from.
